Long, Hot Summer

After a moist and relatively cool spring, we have had lots of sun. That is necessary and good for the crops. My garden has never looked so good. Everything is twice the size it normally is. My tomatoes have exceeded six feet tall. Bishop Moore who is an expert gardener, said that I need to start pruning my tomatoes. Who ever heard of pruning tomatoes? I have zucchini in abundance (I am pursuing the neighbors and threatening them with zucchini. I have had lots of peppers, several tomatoes and one cucumber. Not only has the Lord showered me with blessings, my garden has also been a recipient. I can now partially "repay" all my good friends and neighbors for their love and help.

Park City
My brothers Jim and Tom and their families came out to visit. We quickly arranged a "Wilhelmsen" family reunion. We all went up to Park City and the Olympic Park to see the Flying Ace All-Stars Show.

This pool is the summer training site for many world-class aerialists, including Olympians Shannon Bahrke, Emily Cook, Jeret Peterson and Ryan St. Onge. The pool contains 750,000 gallons of water and is "bubbled" to soften the impact of landing. The highest of the four primary kickers can launch these airborne athletes nearly 70 feet in the air, and allows the aerialists to perform several twists and flips. I have attached a couple of photos. It was good to have all the family together...33 total for Dutch Oven Bar-B-Q beef at my house. It was so good to see everyone and all the cousins interacting.Vicki and Ron and family are in Nauvoo right now called as 2 week missionaries at the Nauvoo pageant. This was their summer vacation. Ben and Katherine are thrilled to actually make some contacts that resulted in referrals.
Spencer also had one referral.
I had a couple stay with me in May and another senior couple, the Browns, came on Monday. It was great to reminisce about Texas Houston South Mission. Our mission president was also justBarbara and Ben Davis
